Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Last Updated: September 5, 2026
Our Position
Baja Sharkeez does not sell your personal information for money to third parties.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, “CCPA/CPRA”), “sharing” can also include disclosing personal information to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising, even when no money changes hands. We do not disclose personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not place advertising cookies on sharkeez.net.
Cookies and Your Choices
Our Site uses a limited number of cookies and similar technologies. Because we do not place advertising cookies and do not use cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising, the Site does not display a cookie consent banner.
- Functional (essential) cookies are required for the Site to function — for example, to maintain security and keep the Site available. These cannot be disabled.
- Preference cookies remember your settings, such as region or display choices.
- Statistics (analytics) cookies, such as Google Analytics, help us understand aggregate Site usage. We use this information only to measure and improve Site performance, not for advertising.
We do not place marketing or advertising cookies on this Site.
You can control or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse new cookies, delete cookies already stored, or alert you when a cookie is set. Instructions are available in your browser’s help documentation. Disabling essential cookies may affect how the Site functions.
You can also send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser, which we honor automatically. See the section below.
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If your browser or device is configured to send a GPC signal when it visits our Site, we will treat that signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for that browser or device. We will also not set non-essential tracking cookies for that session. You do not need to verify your identity to use GPC.
To enable GPC, use a privacy-focused browser or install a GPC browser extension. Learn more at Global Privacy Control.
Your California Privacy Rights
As a California resident, you have the following rights under CCPA/CPRA regardless of whether we sell or share your personal information:
- Right to Know. Request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, the business purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to Delete. Request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain legal exceptions.
- Right to Correct. Request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Right to Opt Out of Sale or Sharing. Opt out of any future sale or sharing of your personal information, should our practices change.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information. To the extent we use sensitive personal information for purposes that are not strictly necessary to provide the services you request, you have the right to limit that use.
- Right to Non-Discrimination. Exercise any of your privacy rights without receiving discriminatory treatment from us.

Verification and Response
To protect your privacy, we will verify your identity before processing any request. We may ask you to provide additional information to confirm your identity and, for sensitive requests, to confirm that you are the person making the request. We will respond within 45 days. This period may be extended by an additional 45 days when reasonably necessary; if we need more time, we will tell you why.
Authorized Agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit a privacy rights request on your behalf. The agent must provide signed written permission from you, and we may contact you directly to verify your own identity.
Third-Party Services
Our Site links to third-party websites and services, including DoorDash for delivery and pickup orders, our gift card provider at sharkeez.cardfoundry.com, our separate merchandise store at sharkeezgear.net, and our social media pages. When you interact with those third parties, their own privacy practices apply. If you want to exercise privacy rights directly with DoorDash or any other third-party service, you must do so on their website or app.
If Our Practices Change
If we ever decide to sell or share personal information in ways beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy, we will update our Privacy Policy and this page, and we will provide a clear and conspicuous opt-out mechanism before doing so.
For full details on how we collect, use, and share your personal information, please review our Privacy Policy.
This page was last updated on the date listed above. We review and update our privacy practices periodically.
